The International General Certificate of Secondary Education, the Cambridge IGCSE, is an international curriculum for 14-16 year olds that develops students' skills in creative thinking, enquiry and problem solving. It gives them excellent preparation for the next stage in their education. At Meester Max, we have been working together with students to prepare them for the IGCSE Dutch exams on both levels:

IGCSE Dutch First Language

IGCSE Dutch Foreign Language

The IGCSE Dutch exam has wide recognition from higher education institutions and employers around the world as evidence of academic ability. The IGCSE is taken in over 100 countries worldwide and is internationally recognised as being equivalent to the GCSE in the United Kingdom.

IGCSE Dutch examinations in 2019

With regular face-to-face lessons through Skype, you will be able to improve your Dutch skills and before the exams will be taken, the student will have exam training lessons to help achieve the best possible grade. During the lessons selected Dutch grammar will be covered and all different topics from the IGCSE Dutch Syllabus will be covered. In the first lessons, your teacher will focus on reading and writing in order to find out the current level.

At Meester Max we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all system. We won't deliver a purely online course with no interaction with a teacher. Each lesson is designed based on current affairs, the outcome of the previous lesson and the personal learning goals. Because there is lot's of effective lesson time with a teacher, the student will be able to reach his or her full potential.

At Meester Max we prepare students for the IGCSE Dutch "Reading" exam (code 0515/02) and "Writing" exam (code 0515/04) which are set by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).

The cost of enrolling for the exams and any mock exams are not included with this course. You have contact your own school / exam board to sign up for the exam.
